President and CEO
Simon Roy is President and CEO of Jemstep and has responsibility for overall business strategy and management. In his over eight years at Jemstep, Mr. Roy has had direct responsibility for functions including strategy, corporate and business development, sales, services and investment systems.
Mr. Roy has more than 20 years of experience serving as an investor in, consultant to and chief executive officer (CEO) of several technology companies. Prior to joining Jemstep, he served as CEO of a start-up, Accrue Software, which was subsequently listed on the Nasdaq. Prior to that, Mr. Roy served as a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company, serving the financial services industry.
Chief Operating Officer, Jemstep, Head of Digital Strategy, Invesco
Bryan Perryman is the Chief Operating Officer for Jemstep and global Head of Digital Strategy for Invesco. Mr. Perryman works with the Jemstep management team to define and execute its growth strategy, helping evolve the business model and scale operations. Prior to his current role, he was the Regional Head of Product, Marketing and Strategy for Invesco's business in Asia Pacific.
VP of Engineering
Matthew Rennie is responsible for managing project teams who develop sophisticated computer applications, forecasting tools, and statistical modeling systems that support investment decision-making. Prior to joining Jemstep, he was director of engineering at IT Platforms where he led an international engineering team developing specialized business systems.
VP of Products
Mark Richards is responsible for expanding the organization's conceptual ideas into new products and successfully aligning technological objectives with marketing objectives. He is also responsible for customer contact for modifications or adaptation of product/service. Mr. Richards has been an executive with numerous venture-backed Silicon Valley start-ups including as co-founder of Netmind, acquired by Intellisync (now Nokia).
VP of Strategic Partnerships
Marla Sofer is responsible for structuring and executing Jemstep’s partner strategy and cultivating new and existing partnerships to support the company’s growth objectives. Ms. Sofer has led business development and strategic partnerships at other notable Bay Area fintech companies. Prior to Jemstep, Marla spent over a decade in financial services leading strategic relationships with asset managers, banks, index and data providers, and high net worth clients at Xignite, BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, and Bank Leumi USA.
VP of Client Services
Jennifer Valdez is Vice President of Client Services leading the team responsible for developing long lasting client partnerships by providing excellent onboarding, implementation, training and ongoing support services. Ms. Valdez focuses on making sure the highest levels of client services are provided by continuously enhancing processes and building strong client relationships. Prior to joining Jemstep, she was senior vice president of sales and account management at FIS (formerly SunGard) serving large financial institutions including banks, broker/dealers, insurance companies and RIAs.
