Jemstep has successful demo at FinovateSpring 2010

What an incredible day! Jemstep presented its investment ranking engine for the first time in public yesterday at the Finovate Spring 2010 conference. We had a fantastic reception and are still soaking it all in. Our core proposition definitely struck the right cord with those interested in taking control of their investments.

For those who aren’t sure what our ranking engine is all about, Jemstep combines objective analysis with personalized recommendations to pinpoint quality mutual funds that are the best fit for your profile. Users answer a few questions about their preferences and Jemstep’s ranking engine compares hundreds of key attributes across thousands of products, searching for those that most closely meet their criteria. We think Simon Roy (EVP, Corporate Development) described it well during an interview with CNN-Money: “its an improved Morningstar meets e-Harmony”.

We’ll be launching our beta soon with mutual funds. Stocks and ETF’s will follow shortly afterwards.  We are also in the process of implementing an asset allocation module together with account aggregation, which will be a ground-breaker. So there’s plenty to look forward to, and we’ll keep you updated over the coming days and weeks.

Thanks to all our supporters and followers for their great encouragement. Thanks also to Finovate for an excellent conference and a superb platform for introducing Jemstep to the world.
